Studying offline

Medkit tolerates internet outages while you study, so you don't lose your rhythm. Your answers sync on their own when you're back online.

What happens offline

If your internet drops while you're studying, you can keep answering the cards that were already loaded. Your answers are saved on the device and sync on their own when you're back online, so your progress isn't lost.

What needs a connection is fetching new content (opening a deck you hadn't loaded, uploading images). What you already had at hand keeps working.

When a session starts, Medkit downloads the images for all of its cards, not just the first ones, so the later cards still show their images if you have lost signal by then. If your system's Data Saver is on, that download is skipped.

The connection notice

When Medkit detects that you're offline, it lets you know with a bar at the top. When you're back online, it takes care of uploading whatever was pending.
