Terms and Conditions of use
Last updated: August 20, 2026
1. Acceptance and legal framework
By creating an account or using Medkit, you accept these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with them, you should not use the platform.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic, in particular the Civil and Commercial Code, the Consumer Protection Act (Law 24.240), and the Personal Data Protection Act (Law 25.326). No clause of these terms shall be interpreted to the detriment of the rights those laws grant you.
2. Use of the platform
Medkit is a spaced-repetition study platform for educational purposes. By using it, you agree to do so responsibly and in accordance with that purpose.
Access to the platform is personal. Reselling, renting, or commercially exploiting the service without prior authorization is not allowed.
3. Registration and accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide when registering and for keeping your credentials confidential. Any activity carried out from your account is presumed to be done by you.
Registration by minors must have the authorization of those who hold parental responsibility or legal guardianship. If you detect unauthorized use of your account, let us know promptly at medkitarg@gmail.com.
4. User content and public decks
Each user is responsible for the content they upload: decks, cards, images, comments, and any associated material. The content belongs to you, and you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it for the sole purpose of providing the service's features (studying, progress tracking, and organization).
When you publish a deck or make it visible to other users, you accept that it becomes available for consultation and, depending on the settings, for cloning by the community. You are responsible for holding the necessary rights over the material you share publicly.
Publishing, promoting, or distributing explicit sexual or pornographic content (NSFW) in decks, cards, profile pictures, comments, or any public space of the platform is expressly prohibited. Non-compliance allows the removal of the content and the suspension or deletion of the account.
5. Prohibited conduct
It is not allowed to use Medkit to upload, publish, or distribute unlawful content, explicit sexual content in public spaces, or material that involves minors inappropriately, which will be reported to the competent authorities.
Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, violence, harassment, or bullying toward people or groups, as well as impersonating third parties, is also not allowed.
It is prohibited to infringe third-party intellectual property rights, publish other people's personal data without their consent, or spread spam, unsolicited advertising, scams, malware, or malicious links.
Attempting to compromise, overload, or breach the security of the platform, performing unauthorized automated access (scraping, bots), reverse engineering, or creating multiple accounts to evade sanctions or service limits is not allowed.
6. Moderation, suspension, and account deletion
We reserve the right to review reported content and to remove or restrict material that breaches these terms.
Depending on the severity and repetition of the conduct, we may issue warnings, remove content, limit features, or suspend and delete accounts that breach these terms or that harm other users or the platform. In serious cases, deletion may be immediate.
7. Intellectual property
The name, logo, design, interface, and software of Medkit belong to their owners and may not be copied, distributed, or used without prior authorization.
Respect for these rights is mutual: just as we protect ours, we expect you to respect the copyright and intellectual property rights of third parties when uploading content to the platform.
If you hold a copyright or other intellectual property right and you find content on Medkit that infringes it, write to us at medkitarg@gmail.com. Tell us what the content is and where it is, which right is affected, and whether you are the rights holder or acting on their behalf. We review every notice and, where appropriate, remove the material and apply the measures set out in the moderation section.
8. Availability and changes to the service
Medkit is under continuous development. We may modify, add, or remove features at any time to improve the platform or for technical or operational reasons.
The service is provided as available at any given time. We do not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted availability, and there may be maintenance tasks or temporary interruptions.
9. Limitation of liability
Within the limits permitted by law, we do not guarantee the complete absence of errors, interruptions, or data loss. We recommend not relying exclusively on the service to preserve important material and keeping your own backups of your critical content.
This limitation does not exclude or restrict liability that cannot be legally excluded, in particular liability arising from willful misconduct or gross negligence, nor the rights that consumer protection regulations grant you.
10. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the platform or in applicable regulations. The version in force will always be the one published on this page.
When changes are significant, we will try to communicate them through appropriate means within the platform. Continued use of Medkit after an update implies acceptance of the terms in force.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Argentine Republic.
For any dispute, the courts that correspond under applicable regulations shall have jurisdiction, respecting in all cases the jurisdiction that the Consumer Protection Act (Law 24.240) grants in your favor.
If you live outside Argentina, these terms do not affect the rights that the mandatory rules of your country of residence grant you as a consumer.
12. Contact
For inquiries or complaints related to these terms, you can write to us at medkitarg@gmail.com.
